1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, software development kits and pixels (collectively, “cookies” in this policy). They help the Platform work, remember your choices, keep you signed in and understand how the service is used. This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
2. Why we use them
- To keep you securely signed in and maintain your session.
- To remember preferences such as your city, language and cart contents.
- To keep the Platform secure and detect fraud or abuse.
- To understand how features are used so we can improve them.
3. Categories we use
We currently use two categories, matching the choice shown in our cookie banner:
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Sign-in, session security, load balancing, cart, checkout, and remembering basic preferences such as your city or language. The Platform cannot function without these, so they are not gated behind a choice. | Always on |
| Analytics | Aggregated, mostly de-identified usage statistics (via Google Analytics) that help us improve the Platform. This is the single choice offered in our cookie banner — if you reject it, no analytics tools load. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site measurement cookies; if that changes, this policy and the banner will be updated accordingly before any such cookie is set. | Opt-in |
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by trusted partners that help us run the Platform — for example, our authentication provider, payment gateway, mapping service and, where enabled, analytics and error-monitoring tools. These partners process data under contractual safeguards. Optional tools load only when configured and only with your consent; if a given tool is not enabled, the Platform still works without it.
5. Your consent & choices
Strictly necessary cookies are set as soon as you use the Platform because they are essential to provide the service you have requested. For analytics, we rely on your consent under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology rules. You can accept or decline analytics when the cookie banner is first shown, and change your mind at any time afterwards — withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.
6. Managing cookies
- Click “Cookie preferences” in the footer of any page, at any time, to reopen the banner and change your choice.
- Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Most browsers let you do this per site or globally.
- Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in, checkout and other core features.
7. Changes & contact
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. For any question about cookies or your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer at [email protected] or email [email protected].
