1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you” or “user”) and Furs N Feathers (“Furs N Feathers”, “we”, “us” or the “Platform”), the operator of the website and mobile experiences available at fursnfeathers.com. They are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not require a physical or digital signature. By creating an account, browsing, or placing an order or booking, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Our aggregator model
Furs N Feathers is an aggregator and technology platform. We bring together independent third parties — retailers, pharmacies, veterinarians, trainers, groomers, boarding and daycare facilities, and event organisers (collectively, “Providers”) — and help you discover, compare, order from and book them in one place.
- For most goods and services, the contract for sale or service is between you and the relevant Provider. The Provider is responsible for the quality, safety, legality and fulfilment of what they offer.
- We are not the manufacturer, prescriber, treating veterinarian, or service performer unless a listing expressly states it is fulfilled by Furs N Feathers.
- Provider listings, availability, pricing, ratings and distances are provided for convenience and may change without notice.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to transact on the Platform. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Please give us accurate, current information and keep it updated.
4. Orders & marketplace
Placing an item in your cart and submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is confirmed only when we (or the Provider) accept it and dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, due to stock issues, suspected fraud, pricing errors or delivery constraints — and will refund any amount already paid for declined orders. Product images and descriptions are indicative; minor variations may occur.
5. Service bookings
When you book a vet consult, grooming, training, boarding or similar service, you enter into an arrangement with the Provider. Appointment times depend on the Provider’s availability. Cancellation and rescheduling windows, and any associated fees, are described at the time of booking and in our Cancellations & Refunds policy. Online vet consultations are for general guidance and are not a substitute for an in-person emergency examination.
6. Pharmacy & prescriptions
Certain medicines for animals are prescription-only. Where a valid prescription from a registered veterinarian is required, you must upload or provide one, and the dispensing pharmacy may verify it before fulfilment. We and our pharmacy Providers may refuse or cancel any order that does not meet applicable requirements, including the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and rules made under it. Always follow your veterinarian’s directions; do not self-medicate your pet.
7. Payments & pricing
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and, unless stated otherwise, are inclusive of applicable taxes. Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways; we do not store your full card details. You agree to pay all charges for orders and bookings you place, including any delivery, convenience or platform fees disclosed before checkout. In case of a pricing error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you.
8. Your responsibilities
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.
- Do not misuse, scrape, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform.
- Do not post unlawful, infringing, misleading or harmful content.
- Provide accurate information about yourself and your pet, including for medical bookings.
- You are responsible for the welfare of your pet and for decisions about its care.
9. Reviews & community content
You may post reviews, photos, comments and other content. You retain ownership of what you post but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it on and in connection with the Platform. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to share it. We may moderate, remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
10. Intellectual property
The Platform, including its design, logos, text, graphics and software, is owned by or licensed to Furs N Feathers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from it without our prior written permission, except as permitted by these Terms.
11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement in relation to Provider goods and services. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of Providers. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Subject to that, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order or booking giving rise to the claim.
12. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Platform, or where required by law. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection rights, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern amicably.
14. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified on this page with a revised “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by other means.
